Where We Travel
Our shop sits at 3203 Avenue B, and most calls we take come from right around it - Maxey Park a mile northwest, Caprock two miles south-southeast, Bayless Atkins two miles southeast, Bowie two miles west-northwest, Waters three miles south-southeast, Arnett Benson three miles north, North by Northwest four miles north-northwest, Dunbar-Manhattan Heights five miles east, and Parkway and Cherry Point five miles east-northeast. We also run trucks out to Wolfforth, eight miles out, Slaton at sixteen, and Abernathy at eighteen. That's a service footprint covering roughly 5,235 households, about 3,838 of them owner-occupied houses rather than rentals.
If you're outside that ring, call anyway - we'll tell you straight whether it's a drive we can make that day or one that needs scheduling ahead. We don't pad this list with towns we've never actually run a truck to.
Who Turns Up
Whoever answers the phone at 1-806-484-8518 is who talks you through the job before anyone shows up - what it likely is, roughly what parts cost, and whether it's worth fixing at all. A lot of the houses we get called to went up between 1963 and 2003, with the bulk of that stock dating to the 1960s and '70s, so a fair share of what we see is original hardware: one-piece doors on old torsion setups, openers nobody makes parts for anymore. Winters here are cold enough that hardened grease and shrunk seals show up as real complaints, not theoretical ones, so that's part of what we're listening for on the call.
We won't pretend every job is quick. If a part has to be special-ordered for an older door, we'll say so before we ask you to wait on us.
What Comes Next
Call or stop by the Avenue B address. If it's a broken spring or a door stuck on the track, we can usually talk timing on the same call. If it's an opener that's aged out or a panel that needs replacing to match an older door, we'll need to look at it in person before quoting anything firm - mismatched panels on 1960s and '70s doors aren't always a stock item.
Given a median household income of $76,850 across the area, most of what we quote runs toward straightforward repair rather than full replacement, but we'll tell you plainly when a door's old enough that fixing it again isn't the better spend. After the call, expect a window, not a guess dressed up as one, and a call back if we're running behind it.
