Where We Travel
We work throughout Lubbock and the areas around it, from close-in neighborhoods like Maxey Park (1 mile NW), Bowie (2 miles WNW), Caprock (2 miles SSE), and Bayless Atkins (2 miles SE), out through Waters, Arnett Benson, North by Northwest, Dunbar-Manhattan Heights, and Parkway and Cherry Point. We also take calls from Wolfforth, about 8 miles out, and go as far as Slaton (16 miles) and Abernathy (18 miles) when the job fits our schedule.
Distance matters for a quote because it affects how soon we can get a truck to your address, not because the door work itself changes much house to house. A spring job in Caprock and a spring job in Slaton use the same parts and the same labor time - the only difference is drive time. If you're outside this list, call and ask; we'd rather tell you straight than have you wait on a truck that isn't coming.
When you request a quote, tell us your street and nearest cross-area (Maxey Park side, Bowie side, out toward Wolfforth, etc.) so we can give you a realistic window instead of a guess.
Who Turns Up
A real about page here would be short, because we don't have a founding date, a staff roster, or a certification number to hand you, and we're not going to invent one to fill space. What we can tell you is what shows up at your house: someone who works on garage doors and openers, full stop - not a general handyman service that also does doors.
Lubbock's housing stock runs mostly from the 1960s through the early 2000s, with a lot of it built in the 1960s and 70s, median build year around 1967. That matters for who you want on the job: older torsion setups, older track widths, and openers from a few generations back are common here, and someone who works doors regularly recognizes them on sight instead of guessing.
We don't do finish carpentry, we don't do full home remodels, and we're not the crew for a door that's really a structural opening problem - if that's what you've got, we'll say so rather than take the job anyway.

The door's age (or the age of your house, since a lot of original doors in this area date back to that 1963-2003 build range), whether it's a single or double door, whether the opener has already been swapped out, and what's actually failing - won't open, makes noise, off track, spring snapped - all change the number.
